DESCRIPTION
Low temperature vacuum plasma surface treatment equipment can realize the cleaning, activation, modification, etching, etc. of the whole and part of the material and the complex structure. The biggest feature is that it can be processed regardless of the shape and type of the material, such as plastic, glass, ceramic, metal, etc. Plasma treatment technology can improve the hydrophilicity, wettability, adhesion, printing and dyeing properties of the material.
The low-temperature plasma surface treatment instrument has two built-in plates that can form a built-in electric field. A vacuum pump is used to create a vacuum environment in the equipment cavity. As the vacuum degree increases, the gas becomes thinner and thinner. At this time, the molecular distance and the length of molecular free motion will become larger. Due to the force of the electric field, the molecules collide and form plasma.
After the plasma action, four major physical and chemical changes occur on the material surface: (1) Free radical generation: The active particles in the discharge space collide with the material surface, breaking the chemical bonds between the surface molecules and generating large molecular free radicals, making the material surface reactive. (2) Surface etching: The material surface becomes rough, forming many tiny pits, increasing the specific surface area of the workpiece and changing the surface shape; (3) Surface cross-linking: The free radicals on the material surface recombine to form a dense network cross-linking layer; (4) Polar groups are introduced: The free radicals on the surface combine with the reactive active particles in the discharge space of the device, thereby introducing polar groups with strong reactivity.
