DESCRIPTION
The NE-PE05X drum plasma cleaning machine can be used to treat various powders and powder materials (especially nano powder materials), such as carbon black, carbon nanotubes, catalyst powders, mica powders, silicon dioxide, polymer powders and other materials for surface activation modification. The high-energy particles in the plasma are used to bombard the powder surface, which changes the morphology of the powder surface and introduces various active groups. The plasma treatment can remove some impurities adsorbed on the surface, thereby achieving the purpose of improving the hydrophilicity, dispersibility, compatibility, fluidity, catalyticity and other purposes of the powder.
Powdered materials have a large specific surface area and are easy to agglomerate. Plasma treatment requires a reaction in a sealed device under low pressure, which increases the difficulty of plasma treatment of powdered materials. In conventional plasma treatment, the powdered materials are static during the entire treatment process. The advantages of this method are simple equipment and easy operation. The disadvantage is that the treatment of powdered materials is not very uniform, because plasma treatment only involves a thickness of several to tens of nanometers of material, so it is difficult to treat particles below this thickness. If the thickness of the powdered material spread on the container exceeds this thickness, it will be difficult to treat it evenly. The drum plasma cleaning machine NE-PE05X, through the unique dynamic rotating drum structure design, makes the container containing powdered materials rotate, driving the powdered materials to move, thereby ensuring that the powdered products are disordered and multi-directionally treated by plasma in the cavity to achieve the purpose of uniform treatment. The equipment has a speed regulation function, which can control the speed of the powder rotating in the cavity, thereby optimizing the control of the powder modification process parameters.
The biggest advantage of plasma treatment technology to modify nanopowders is that it can optimize the physical and chemical structure of the nanoparticle surface without affecting the original properties of the nanoparticles. In addition, plasma treatment is a dry treatment, unlike traditional chemical treatment that causes problems such as solvent residues, and is a new method for energy conservation and environmental protection.
